Headhunters
Headhunters (Hodejegerne) is a Norwegian thriller where the main character Roger is a charming scoundrel who is living a life of luxury well beyond his means, and stealing art to subsidize his expensive lifestyle. When his beautiful gallery owner wife introduces him to a former mercenary in the possession of an extremely valuable painting, he decides to risk it all to get his hands on it, and in doing so discovers something which makes him a hunted man.
Task: In our groups of four, to make a one minute short film version of the movie.
Bodoni
Task: Using the Bodoni font you are to design a single letterform in illustrator, which will then be collated with the others, laser cut into plywood, mounted and then printed. Each letter must be beautiful.
We go the letter I and these are out final designs.

Inspired … by Buckminster Fuller.
Fuller (1895 – 1983) was an American systems theorist, architect, engineer, author, designer, inventor, and futurist. Driven by the design philosophy of “more for less”, he worked simultaneously on plans for houses, cars, boats [and everything else that existed then] all of which were designed to be mass-produced using the simplest and most sustainable means possible.As a theorist he had many inspirational and thought provoking quotes, which he worked throughout out his life to prove them.
“The best way to predict the future is to design it.”
Typography is no longer restricted to the printed page and is now able to escape its grasp, to be liberated and asks to perform on screen in a wive variety of context.
This project is about using digital and analogue motion graphic processes to generate studies in kinetic typography.
The Task: To capture a piece of spoken word audio of about 20 seconds that I find inspiring.
